    You folks never seen bikers unless you live in Iowa and experience Ragbrai. Especially if you live in an over-night town and have 10,000 of them there at the same time. I've taken 20 miles of gravel roads getting to work, because it was quicker than the highway. https://ragbrai.com/route/

    Many dealers mark up parts a certain % over list, and it's not done to rip people off. Especially the time taken looking up, digging out o-rings and small stuff to sell. Pay the parts person more in wages that parts profit. Costs a lot of $ to keep parts stocked.

    Dealer prices on filters are normally competitive. It's those "captive" parts that they bend you over.
