    Electric Power. Steering

    Looks like the yoke is split by where the bolt is removed. (to make it tight on the shaft) Spread it a little by driving in a small chisel or an old screw driver. (if I understand the part you want off the shaft)

    Soft99 black tire wax. About the best that I have found. Got mine from Amazon. Wash your tires good before application!

    Band saw will not work on that lead. I learned the hard way. Melting the chunk wanted off worked best.

    Lazy guys used to just drive the old soft plugs inside and install new. :cautious:

    Have a JD Dealer run that ser# for warranty repair. We did bunches of starter bypass covers around early 1990's. It was a PIP so the starter solenoid could not be bypassed with a screw driver. Long shot, but.................
