    Condenser Question

    If you have a mag it dosen't matter if your system is 6 or 12 volts, a mag makes it's own power and works without any input. If it is hooked up to the electrical system you don't have a mag. You have a distributor The only thing you have to mesure is the capacity of the condenser.

    There are at least two locations for the timimg marks. One is behind the waterpump. the other is on the drivers side.

    DC Starter problem

    Sounds like you have a bad ground connection. The only other thing that could cause that much voltage drop is a bad starter or low amp. output from your battery. Clean all connections both Pos. and Neg. first before you change any parts.

    B Water in the oil

    Before you get too carried away pull the valve cover off and look at the soft plugs under the rocker shaft on top of the head. This is a common leak area on the AC B.
