    What is a 40C worth?

if you have an extra $3k to spend on redoing the clutches the right way and another $2k for the blade and cylinder....then locate one ready to go and pay the piper so you can jump on it and go. nevermind all the heavy lifting with a chain hoist or engine hoist. tracks and clutches cost is...

    JD 40 wont start ?

you may want to tap the side of the carb with a plastic handled screwdriver. the float may be sticking after sitting awhile and only allowing small amounts of fuel to pass allowing it to fire erratically.

3010 Diesels - School me on them

it's a 5K set up. more than that is your opinion. I've owned one with the same set up and has performed outstanding. the tilt on my loader is more powerful than the dead lift arms. I can get a GP off the ground to load on a trailer, but it is ran directly off the pump. tranny rebuilds will...

    1951 G rod bearing help

Just had my F1047R rods cleaned up. New piston pin bushings fitted and machined and bought the 2 piece .020 rod bearing inserts to match the rod journals that were ground. Do I need to use shim stock to clearance these correctly or what? The bearings snapped right in and feel good when snugged...

late styled G .125 over piston purchase

I believe Hinrichs stated 12,000ths when we spoke on the phone yesterday. Said they would ship the info with the pistons and I will ensure the machine shop gets it to finish honing the cylinders properly. Nice people to help me out when I called. Thanks for the referral. Great reminder on the...

late styled G .125 over piston purchase

after all the posts I've read here and over on the pulling forums, I am needing a great source for a set of .125 over pistons for my freshly bored late styled G block. I am assuming high compression aluminum ones are the answer but I am having a hard time locating them from a reputable source...

I can't afford a lilliston picker-even an antique one as of yet, so if I can get a few youth baseball teams to help out, I may get a start. Still looking for a picker though.

    24B planter

I have a Hoover 1 row digger with an inverter that I hope will save my back this season. I think it will do just fine enough as I by no means claim to know what I'm doing. Thanks for all that knowledge. I know tha's not printed in a manual anywhere LOL. I am considering selling off a couple...

    24B planter

Thanks for the info. I saw those diagrams online at JDParts but they are obviously NLA when searched, so I am currently in the market for a set. Off to the classifieds I go.

    24B planter

Looking to plant peanuts again this season and not by hand as an acre is in order. I picked up two 24B units on a tool bar for my 3010D and wondered what plate # system works best with unshelled or shelled nuts that would drop right in the seed hopper? I see on JDparts they have a high speed...
