    Super 55 low oil pressure

    I finally got my new oil pressure gauge hooked up and working on my s55. The oil pressure is in the low range. Any ideas on where I can get a replacement or rebuilt kit for the pump? I have been searching the internet without any success. Thanks for the help.

    I am looking at a 1959 Ford 871 with the select o speed transmission but it has 1 reverse and 3 forward gears that do not work. Dave Arthurs is saying it would be $3500+ to rebuild the transmission. Is this tractor worth buying? How much would the tractor be worth with a rebuilt transmission...

    I have an Oliver Super 55 and it has the one port for adding fluid for the transmission and it has a second port with a dipstick for the hydraulic fluid.     Super 55 Electronic ignition

    I am looking to do the same, convert to 12v and electronic ignition. From what I read is that I need the ignition kit, new coil and new plug wires in addition to the alternator. Am I missing anything?

    I am looking to fix up my Super 55 and have the ability to purchase some parts from a 550. I am looking for some feedback if the parts I am looking for are interchangeable. The parts I am looking for are the fuel tank, radius rods, air cleaner and generator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
