    rotary mowers

I have a woods 6 brush bull 3 pth, a jd hx10 pull type , and a 15 land pride series 7. All 3 cut capacity. The 3pth hitch is good for mowing steep rough ground which I do quite often you can throw it around easily on hillsides. The 10 and the 15 are fine to a degree on steep fairly smooth...

    450 C tracks

Hi I grew up around iron all my life... from small equipment to very large. When we replaced the undercarriage we did it completely. Why would you replace the sprockets and idlers etc. and not the complete track system? It sounds like the machine has earned a new undercarriage... if the chain...

    bolt in oil pan

I would guess around 175- 200 lbs .I can only guess because I?ve never actually man handled 1. I?ve never actually taken 1 out from under the tractor.I myself own a JD 450e series... the belly pan is tough to handle regardless of how u do it . I?ve seen some that are bent ... and they are extra...

    bolt in oil pan

Hi . I have dropped the belly pan on my dozers using a 2 1/2 ton capacity floor jack . It works really well.. you can even roll belly pan back or forward to help with the work you are doing. When all?s done just roll back in place and jack up in to position.. I might add if outside we put down...

    Deere calandar

Well they can keep there calendar as far as I?m concerned. I?m a Deere man but I?ve bought my last 1...they are overrated and overpriced. The last tractor I bought is a 2014 5115m and it?s been nothing but trouble from day 1. Imo they need to spend the calendar money they use on making better...

    Glad I called dealer

I have to agree with a few comments already made . You need to lighten up .. it's not the end of the world. I think the dealer is taking care of it for you and he has taken care of the problem that caused it. As far as running over full it won't hurt anything at that amount. I don't touch my...

Cant Get Parts for a NEW TRACTOR!!!

Well I can see both sides of the argument. First I think these equipment dealers all are alike... they get your money then it's see ya! They don't know you they don't have any parts and they don't care. I've found the same situation concerning new vehicles.. I realize that it takes time and...

New Tractor Proces Make It Easy.....

Well I have to agree with you about having more then 1 tractor. I have acess to 2 more .. late models. As far as choosing between the new Mahindra or the used 4240 Deere?? Neither! I don't like Mahindra.. and even though I'm a Deere man .. it's to old for me .. and I ownly run 4WD!

New Tractor Proces Make It Easy.....

Well I my self will go with the new machine. I don't like turning wrenches and I don't like down time. That's not to say that I have not had down time with new equipment...When that happens I call the dealer .. they cover the issue usually under warranty.. not always but I will not run older...

    Case 450 dozer track loose

Have to agree with Marlowe . I'm a Deere man ..I've owned several dozers in the 350 -450 size. They have had the same issues and I've done just that. Went to parts dealer and replaced everything for about the same amount. No more work and you have all new when done.... just my opinion.

    JD 350D manual

I bought a manual like this .. it cost me $350.back in 79. It was the complete shop manual with everything needed to do a complete repair from 1 end to the other. It came in handy several times.... well worth the money imo. Several of my so called good friends always wanted to borrow it .. but...

    450 jd or case

Deere and only Deere. I've run the both and imo there's no comparison. The case may do the job but if you plan on doing long hard work you better pack a sleeping bag and lunch. They are built lighter and weaker where it matters for work..I've worked beside the same year tractors and case was...
