    My JD 430 has the 72" belly mower and has the drive shaft like a rear bush hog. I was thinking it sheared a pin(bolt) like bush hogs do. I am not familiar with these type PTO clutches, etc. Thanks for you comment.

    Hello, I was cutting the field with the JD 430 and the blades stopped turning. I could hear the PTO switch engaging but no blades turning. Does the 72 inch mower deck have a shear bolt or something that is keeping the blades from turning. Thanks for the help!

    2950 Trasmisson light

    The Transmission light continues to glow , I changed the Filter twice and cleaned out the inlet screen. I did find and "O" ring stuck the the filter on the first change so I'm assuming it is bypassing somewhere that's why it doesn't build up enough pressure to trigger the gauge. any Idea...

    2030 Flywheel pot depth.

    Hi, I have a 2030 separated to replace the single disc 12" clutch assembly and require the flywheel pot depth so as to have the flywheel machined before assembly. Any feedback greatly appreciated on this one, thanks.

    Farmall Cub 42" Belly Mower Work on Farmall Super A?

    Thanks Notjustfair. Right now I am trying to find a 42 A mower designed for the Farmall A or Super A. They must be very scarce. The 42C is for the Cub and the 42A fits the Farmall A. I have a L59 for a Super A spotted close by. I am trying to decide between at 42" and a 59". JW

    Thanks BarnyardEngineering, I know exactly what you mean, I have looked closely at photos of the Super pulleys and the Cub pulley set up. I am not finding any photos or information about the Super A version of the Cub type mower. Anyone know what brand is setup for the Super A?

    Thanks khouse6, But if the blade runs backwards won't that have an effect on the bolt or bolts that hold the blade on? Won't that cause them to back off and get loose or fall out? JW
