    Im replacing the Schwartz front end on my 3020 with a factory wide front off of a 4010. The guy says its in good condition with no cracks or welds of any kind. Apart from obvious damage or bent metal, is there anything else I should check for when I go to inspect it in person?

    IMHO if your tractor isn't a collector "show queen" then changing electrical system to 12 volts is the best thing to do. You'll have more hair with darker color utilizing a 12 volt system. Newer type 12 volt starters are much more powerful than 12 volt starters built back in the 60's...
