    Have a few Low-Line Angus that are due this Spring, a Bull and a few more of various ages. Probably try to grow numbers some more. Have to have something to retire to. Also make hay. Sell some and feed some. Busy enough with a full time job as well.

    I agree with Timmy here. Or possibly just buy a metal rack and mount it on your floor. I've seen them built like this. 2 sides, a back and a front gate.

    Just a thought. Have you considered putting the stub guards on your 1219? Then you could mow with either tractor. I have them on a 1209 and I cover around 90 acres or so. Mow with an IH 656 or an IH 856. I can mow fast enough in these old meadows where I don't think I would want to go any...

    A couple old hydros

    Absolutely. Have a 656D Hydro on the CIH 8530 square baler and a 966 Hydro on the JD 330 round baler. 656 also works well on the Bale Wrapper.

    I have had an 856 on 20.8x38's for quite a while now. Has an M&W Turbo on it. Been a very good tractor for me. Had the injector pump rebuilt 3 or 4 years ago. When it was rebuilt a friend of mine had it set up so it really isn't close to stock. Does everything I want it to do. Also have a 966...

    Have one with an M&W Turbo. Agree with the above. One of the best 100 horse tractors ever made.

    18.4-34 vs. 18.4-38

    I really wouldn't say cost prohibitive, but the expensive part I would agree with. Went from 18.4x34's to 18.4x38's on a Hydro 966 this spring. Step up rims and new tires. Works much better on the Round Baler now. Raised the drawbar up quite a bit.

    Baling tractors

    Square bales use an IH 656 Hydro on a Case-IH inline. Works great. Small windrow push the lever up, big windrow, pull it back a little. On the JD round baler, use an IH 966 Hydro. Works great on that. Have also used an IH 856 on both. Try to use that on the mower now and leave the Hydro's on...

    Turned some sod today

    Looks good. I also have a 666. Do what little plowing I do with a 656 and 4 14" IH 540. Always loved the smell of fresh turned soil. What are you going to be seeding that back to?

    Pics Story-One Owner 1964 806 Farmall Diesel

    Very good story. It's nice to put pictures with it. Really makes it hit home. With the progression of the tractors they had, you can just picture the farm as it grew. The 806 was a real game changer when it came out. Still a very good tractor after all these years.
