    Yes...makes since. I guess what I was concerned about was that leaving the tractor shut off...t still has power to the starter. No electrical concerns here?

    No it doesn't crank over, just when I put a test light on it it shows power at the starter without starting it. I can turn the lights on when the battery is hooked up, don't need to start it.

    Hello Jim...not sure if you will see this but just happened to notice that once I hook up the battery, I have power going to the starter and I can turn lights on without pulling out the switch/button. Is that normal on these or is there a wire in the wrong place?..jeff
