    Richard is correct. That cotter pin is placed in the hole to keep it clear. It is a drain to keep oil from accumulating in the clutch housing. There is only one cotter pin. If it is 90wt oil then it is comming from the Transmission case seal. This is not "That" bad of a fix but it will take...

    Local mechanic machine shop should be able to do it for you cheep enough. I've got one that'll do break drums for $10.00. not sure about the manifold, but I'd suspect aroung that price. Jeff

    As you have a 9N. Even if the TO-20 becomes a parts tractor. There are aloos of parts that are interchangeible. Hydro pump, Steering arms, 3-point, wheels etc. Just so you know. The 9N and TO-20 are cousins.

    PTO seal was piece-o-cake. Pulled it out then pressed in the new one. I used a bench vise and a 1/4" piece of plywood (to apply even pressure) to push the new seal in until flush. Then the trick I found was I used PVE coupler fitting 2" sch 40. To drive in all the way in. The straight...

    For gasket material just us basic gasket making material (paper). I used 1/8" Cork when I made mine (what I had laying around) and it is way over kill.

    YOu can cut your own gaskets, or get them from an MF dealer, or a Sparex or Bear-co dealer. Sparex number S.03352 Gasket 181217M1 Bare-co number B1839 181217M1 Side Plate Gasket You can Google 181217M1 and find suppliers also.
