    TO30 Axel Shaft and Battery Support

    A moment after posting my reply a few moments ago, I checked eBay again for a battery tray and !surprise! there was one from a 1951 TO30 in significantly better condition than mine (as best as I could tell from the photos). I went ahead and picked it up. Thanks again to all! Jeff

    Thanks, all, for the responses -- especially pointing out that the TO30 has a different axel than the Fords and earlier Fergusons. Looks like we might have found an axel locally, but if that doesn't work out I'll take a look at eBay. I guess repairing the battery shelf is our best bet. Jeff

    TO30 starter removal

    I have a TO30 tractor that runs great... except that, as of yesterday, the starter turns but does not engage the flywheel. I obviously need to either replace the starter, or the maybe only the starter drive. But, it looks like it"s going to be very difficult (if not impossible) to remove the...

    hydraulic lift cover

    The hydraulic lift cover on my 1952 TO-30 is missing a chunk of metal out of the right side where the hydraulic lift shaft/bushing pass through. The cover itself is part No. 180 880 M1. I think it's time to replace the cover... any suggestions as to where I might find one? Thanks, Jeff
