    Thanks Joe. I might as well replace with the heavy duty clutch plate if I am going to all trouble of splitting the tractor.

    I saw a forum a couple of months ago about repairing the clutch on a Case 300 tractor.I have the same Case 300 tractor and need to replace the clutch as well. I see 2 part numbers for the clutch---G11077 which was mentioned in the forum and G11079. Seems like both part numbers reference Case 300...
