Clutch problem on my new to me Power King 1614. I have to push the pedal as far as it will go and then it grinds when I put it in gear. When I let out on the pedal it only moves a little before it starts moving. How can I correct this problem, is there an adjustment, I see two plastic plugs...

Got a chance to work on the Kohler this afternoon. Replaced the condenser and that didn?t help. Checked the points and they were a little off so readjust them and that helped some. It runs great up to about half throttle above that it starts cutting out. Next chance I have I am going to go...

    Kohler K321 Carburetor

The throttle shaft is good the main jet is set at 3 1/2. I tried opening it up and it didn?t help I went all the way until it started stalling. Do I need to pull the carburetor back off and double check the main. I set the points at .020. Would that be about right

    JD Mode H Cranking

I know exactly what you mean. It is very shy I gap the points and plugs by the book and set the timing for the mag to snap when the piston is at TDC The tractor idles and runs fine once it cranks. Do you think the carburetor needs to be adjusted
