I think the reason my Power steering T get loose is the hoses were zip tied together at some point & it seems if any sharp turns are made the hoses moving back & forth loosen the T is my theory:) -

I always thought it was the hose fittings leaking until he pointed it out it was the seals .Fluid just runs down on the hoses,loader works fine,I have to add fluid sometimes, but it always works. -

Thanks guys,I do have a burn barrel to sit the bucket on, it appears only the boom seals are leaking.He told me you take the rods out to replace the seals,I am assuming some type of spanner wrench of some sort to remove the rods? -

Ford 3415 wiring
Is there a starter solenoid like most vehicles or is that what you are calling the relay?Also on my 340b the neutral safety switch is bad I have it jumpered for now.Just have to make sure its in neutral before starting. -

Ford 340B Oil pressure Light at Idle?
I am embarrassed to say how often I change the oil,I changed it yesterday & I am going to do it more often. I sickled around the pond in 1st gear & the oil light never came on at idle.The oil light would usually come on only at idle after I cut with the finish mower about 1.5 hours.I will try... -

Ford 340B Oil pressure Light at Idle?
My 340B Oil light comes on at idle after I cut a few a few acres.It seems to be rpm related because it turns off as soon as I accelerate. the belt was loose ,now tight,seems to happen less often.I am embarrassed to say I have never flushed out the cooling system in the 10 years I have owned it 🙄... -

Yes the nuts for #12/13 are on the bottom of #16,#12 & #13 have hoses connected to them above #16,Like I said I never tightened anything above #16 until today.It looks a little different on the tractor than what is shown in the diagram,maybe just mine or a previous repair;) -

Today I removed the bolts#18 from bracket #16.(They go in from the bottom not top) So I could access #12 & #13 which were both 2 turns loose.Looked like no one has ever gone in there...it doesn't leak now! Thanks guys this site is great! -

Yes it is definitely power steering fluid, the fluid in tank goes down as it leaks under pressure. -

I am a rookie mind you but wouldn't a crankshaft seal leak oil not hydraulic fluid?Let me know if I am missing something.
