    Picture Day

870's and 2390 do the bulk of the work. 630, 350 tedder and rake duty. 830 will pull a box spreader on occasion. We try to find something for most of them to do occasionally. The RC, DC, and VC's are a limited by lack of hydraulics.

3 point Sprayer, Saddle Tanks for 970

John's son Joel here, the tank on the boom is a 50 gallon clean water tank. Used only for clean water to rinse the tanks and flush the booms. The suction and agitation lines have valves for each saddle tank so that you can use either one or both tanks.

A Fun Qiizz for all you Case Guys

I'll list the models from that series I have experience with to choose from. 1) letter series tractors -37 RC, 39 DC, 41 VC, 41 VC RC wins smooth, easy to operate, not clumsy. could be an SC but we never had one. I like the VC but its governor isn't great and the clutch isn't as nice as the...

Mid Atlantic Antique Tractor Super Pull 3-21-2015

Unless something has changed, there is no admission charge for spectators. Only Hook and insurance fees for pullers. I am sure donations would be welcome to help cover costs. This pull makes a whole lot more fun than money.

    731 and the 411

The 730 COM engine was set to run at at 1900 rpms full load, the 400 was only 1500. Direct drive 730's were rated at 1700. I think that is where most of the speed difference comes from. If you want a fast tractor start with the a Rock Island produced tractor. (The 300-630 family) Lots of...

The hand brake pulls a cable that actuates the brakes. If your brakes aren't working and adjusted the parking brake won't hold.

    case VAC vs super A

We have a super A that has been around for about 60 years. Amoung other jobs it plowed the gardens and pulled the hay rake quite a bit before the Farmall 200 was replaced by an 870 for sprayer duty and a couple VC's, a 350, 300, 630 showed up around here and needed something to do, The...

    Should I buy a 511b?

    Case 900 drawbar

It pulls fairly well. I have the drawbar about as short as I can get it and still get 20" of height below the PTO housing. Even with it short I still usually have to stack a bunch of weight on the front to keep the front end down in the 9500 lb class. If you are pulling sleds with a long...
