    Best chainsaw?

I have had a poulan with 16" bar that was a great little saw and a Poulan Pro with 18" bar that sucks. My biggest problem is finding chains that last any length of time. I might buy one a year sometimes sharpen my own but most with 30 minutes use are dull and have to be resharpened.

OT buying an extended warranty on viehicle

Most of the time we think only in terms of monetary cost and forget about the peace of mind knowing we do have coverage in the event of a major loss beyond the included warranty. But how much is one's peace of mind worth? Everyone is different.

    Home-Made or Factory-Made Tractor??

But neither are k or u words. For that matter IMHO is not a word either. We all have gotten too far into word substitutes IMHO.

    OT: braggart of grrndkid....for shame

Know the feeling. I was my grandkids best friend when they were smaller. They fought over who would sit with me at a meal. I would one on either side and maybe two on my lap. Now, it is high and bye. They don't realize while they have other interests I don't. They are still my life and...

    multi power

True, I had an 850 JD with tricycle front end and used to bush hog some pretty steep hills. Never had a problem but with my New Holland Boomer 35 I have to remember to keep the loader down low. Common sense does go a long way.

    China bearings

My wife worked in qc for years for various companies and for the most part qc was a necessary evil and rarely were recommendations followed. I went through the same thing with my company. They hired experts to identify and strengthen certain areas of quality but the company ignored what they...

    Very Sad Accident

Also here in TN a motorist near me topped a hill and hit and killed 2 folks walking toward him apparently in the road. I wasn't there but I have seen so many folks walking toward traffic (legal) but nowhere near the shoulder.
