Shoulder Nipple - How Would you Search This?
Lamp parts are readily available on the Net. Google "lamp parts". I pulled up B & P lamps parts first try. They are also known as a "Stop Nipple". Good Luck JLG -

Onan/jd 318 question
Jon If you email me I can send you info on your Onan OR you can go to Smok Stak and find the Onan file dump, then search to find the file 965-0156. Since the engine was from a JD I would search for wiring info on the JD site. If its a rebranded MTD mower you might find it there. I'm not...- Jim in TX

Jon Suggest you go to Smok Stak and search for Onan info. There is detailed info on Onan generators. I'm sure you can find help on dimensional data for your engines. Speaking of phase converters...
Before you construct a converter Google Haas Kemp welder conversion. It is possible to use a 3P on 1P by rewiring the transformer. If you try it please post pictures. JLG- Jim in TX

OT rant.. MTD mower deck spindles
I think you will find that the shaft missed the hardening process. My Cub had a few issues after I first bought it that I solved. However, the blade spindles are on the ragged edge. My opinion is that the bearings are too small and don't have any load margin left. I have been buying ebay...- Jim in TX

What is this engine?
www.pittauto.com will get you a downloadable manual with engine description to help you identify yours. The dist N/P will get you the correct points IF you have an auto supply with people who know what points are. It's likely that a internet search with the Dist N/P no. number will identify it...- Jim in TX
