Temp Sending Unit - 1980 International 284 - 30 HP Diesel
Hi, Bob -- The unit is metric. It screws nicely into a 16 mm nut with a 1.5 thread pitch. What do you think? Can you find it? -- Jim --- Jim King

Temp Sending Unit - 1980 International 284 - 30 HP Diesel
Thanks for the prompt response, Bob. The sender DOES have two "prongs" on its top. They're shaped like rods, not flattened. And, yes, the unit screws into thermostat housing (immediately underneath the thermostat). I know the thread is metric, but I'll go to a local shop and ask them to tell...- Jim King
