    which side alternator?

    If it is an 2N generator would go on the left side. They sold a magneto that bolted in place of the front mount coil that would interfere with the generator.

    Carburetor Question, need chock to run smooth

    If you don't use plug wires with copper wire they will cause missing and uneven running. Carbon wires won't work.
