    I would take the autoparts guy's comment with a large grain of salt. I doubt that it's true that you won't be able to get a six volt battery. O'Reilly Autoparts shows lots of six and eight volt batteries in stock at the store in my area.

    It has a knob and looks a lot like the OEM part. I don't know the manufacturer, but I bought it at Mills Fleet Farm.

    Depends on what you buy. I bought two 12.4x28 turf tires on new rims from Tucker Tire. Cost a little over $1000 (including shipping). I ran my old tires until one began to split in half in the center of the tread. It was a cheap, no-name tire. The Goodyear from the other side was still...

    new Jubilee manifold

    The manifold for my 2N (purchased either from nnalert's or this site maybe four years ago -- I don't remember), bolted right up and sealed fine. The only problem is that there's a BIG lump of metal on the left end that makes it hard to connect the intake. Looks like the mold was made wrong...

    Be careful letting out the clutch. Don't let it grab or you could fall off the back end of the tractor. (Sure glad my son didn't think to take a picture with his cell phone of me steering with my feet to miss the septic tank cover while I had was climbing back into the seat.)
