Primer color
white under yellow or red works well just make sure you cover everything evenly it makes the colors brighter unless you paint untill full hiding- jim wise

O/T American work force............
i have a body shop, its depressing. cant work kids sick, has an appointment, im commision ill try and come in at eight. the man who trained me would have fired him on the spot for this crap. my favorite line, well well finish tomarrow jim- jim wise

for you welder guru's
the setting with the line is stitch the one with the dot is spot the lower is the timer for the weld time power is set up above and so is the wire speed. spot is for a pre puched hole stich is for filling or to keep warping to a minimum -

update on septic field woes
pops had that problem with his leech field. someone told him to put hydrogen poroxide in the field. not the dime store 3% the chemical grade 55 drum stuff. put in the outlet into the field, works well cleaned sludge and fixed problem. so research it and see if it might help you -

Painting Wheels and Rims???
wipe the rubber with laquer thinner or alc and tape the tire with short pieces of tape and paper- jim wise

Lanse you can paint it, when the time comes. when you get that far we will help you. you need to focus on the motor/ drive train first. you dont want to back track. you can clean your parts and fix them. distributer,generator, starter etc. baby steps. where do you live at? jim- jim wise

i wish lanse was close to me, finding people with his intrest are few and far between. i learned body and paint from an older shop owner. that was 26 years ago and we still have lunch most every day. i have tryed to teach a few guys but havent found one yet lanse is doing fine, the grunt...- jim wise

Me again can U weld cast with...
I welded the valve seat on my 50 studebaker, its cast block with nickle wire with the mig welder and recut the seat no problems so far jim- jim wise

O.T. G.M.C. pickup power window
look, the advice on the regulator is right. if it is a cable drive regulator buy a new one and put it in. they break all the time. its a stranded cable running over plastic guides and the guides break. at this point buy new. my computer show aftermarket but id have to call gm price 175.00 jim- jim wise
