    1030 lower bore issue

    I've overhauled both my 930's in the past few years. Both looked like yours. Repair as mentioned by others, make smooth, test fit. Use plenty of lube on install and with good steady hand pressure they will slide in fine. Knock on wood, neither of my engines have leaked.

    1030 8speed vs 930 6spped

    I've got 3 930CK's all late models. All have 8 speeds. Had the range shaft bearings out on one. Lack of oil/quality from previous owner. Keep them FULL of good clean oil and they work great. Can't beat that long arm case torque!
