    MM GB engine serial number

    Was looking through my tractor spec/info cards last night and discovered that the engine serial number of the rear GB on my double GB was 403LP-"X190". If I remember right, this would indicate a prototype or experimental engine, Am I right? These are 1955 models if I am correct, but LP tanks...

    Hey G1000FWDA--you said you have access to MM FWA parts!? Would you be aware of a G706 FWA stabilizer bar--need on to attack it to tractor--it was misplaced and I need one to get the tractor running. Would appreciate any information or place where I might find one. Thanks!

    My repair manual lists this for ZBU; ZBE; ZBN (units after 06200001; 06300001 & 06400001) & ZAS -00701911 -don"t know about models before and didn"t find under any repair catalogs I have.

    Flywheel torque specs for G-705

    The source I found said 65 ft/lbs of torque on the flywheel bolts. Sorry It took so long--had to get a hold of the guy who has worked on them for years.

    Anyone got an idea about the value of a GVI diesel stuck and a G705 Diesel not stuck, but don"t know if it will run--the tin and visual condition of both is very good. Thanks

    Diesel or LP

    Useing a "bleeder" on the vapor valve MAKES filling the LP tank over twice as fast and is far less expensive than a pump! I have been using this means for over 30 yrs and works great!
