MF 135 hydraulic position control lever

I pulled the hydraulic pump out of my tractor today and I only have one screw on the bottom of the position control lever that the roller rides on for the pump and in the videos I watched they had 2 screws. Is there a screw someplace in my housing I need to find or did some of the units only...

Mf 135 hydraulic filter pulled apart

I was going to replace the hydraulic filter in my 135 today and when I pulled the old filter the bottom 2/3s of the filter was completely missing. When I looked inside there was some of the filters wire mesh wrapped around the shaft next to the filter. The filter was in place properly and the...

    Ford 5000 belt pulley

Yeah that s what the tractor looks like that I looked at. It has the Ford 5000 Diesel decal on the hood. When you say it might be hard to find a loader to fit is that just because it will be hard to find a bracket to fit it? If that s the case I m not too concerned as I have no problem...

    Ford 5000 belt pulley

Ok thanks for the help. I looked up the price on a dual stage clutch for it and it looks like it would be about $1300 when all said and done to get one. So yeah I want to make sure the clutch is working good.

    Ford 5000 belt pulley

When you say there are two types of clutches.standard and live. Do you mean single and dual stage or does it have some sort of other clutch? He told me it was an independent pto, so I assumed the pto could engaged and disengaged without the clutch. Also can a loader be plumbed into the the...

    Ford 5000 belt pulley

I am considering going back to have a second look and test drive a Ford 5000/Fordson super Major. When the fellow started it up in his garage it was -20 out and the belt pulley on the side was spinning. When I questioned it he said it was because the fluid cold and thick, and said see it stops...

    MF135 3pt hitch

Good chance, from Manitoba Canada so lots of -10 to -30 over the past couple months. I was pretty worried I may have cracked something inside from freezing but I don t think there was enough water for that.

    MF135 3pt hitch

I replaced the shifter boots this winter when I had to order a water pump and fan. Wish I realized I needed the hydraulic filter as shipping to here is more then the filter. I was planning on replacing the clutch this spring so I will just get the filter then and add the rear boot too.

    MF135 3pt hitch

Just a little update on the 3pt issue.. I drained about 2 liters of fluid to the point where the fluid is at the add mark on the dip stick two days ago after letting the tractor sit for a week like suggested to let the fluid settle. The fluid was very milky and and some actual water(maybe a...

    MF135 3pt hitch

I don t want to drain most of the fluid yet to have a peak through the inspection plate as we have some snow in the forecast and I don t want to put new fluid in without flushing all that old crap out first and having a new filter on hand. But I will do as you suggest once the snow starts...

    MF135 3pt hitch

Owned the tractor for little over a year, have only used it for maybe 8 hrs total, all snow blowing. Pretty new to tractors and I noticed something didn t seem right after the 3rd time using it, but I thought it was just my inexperience. The first two ties using it this season everything seemed...

    MF135 3pt hitch

What would be the issues if the 3pt hitch only lifts my snowblower up a few inches by itself but lifts it fully if I lift on it and then if I put downward pressure there is resistance at first but then it lets go and falls to the ground(slowly)? I assumed the raising was a issue with the...
