1948 John Deere B
Clyde, the engine turns over while in gear with the clutch dis engaged. When the clutch is engaged the tractor wont budge. Sorry for not making myself clear. I will try jacking one side of it up and looking deeper into it. It still seems like a transmission problem to me. Thanks for the...- jmattson

I recently bought two John Deere B tractors one is a 1952 and the other being a 1948. When I got the 1948 home I drained the oil and water came out with it. I then drained what was left of the antifreeze. I let it all drain out and filled it back up with diesel. I let it soak for 3 days...- jmattson
