    Another Car-Nundrum

    Can you put a nut on it and weld it to remove the broken bolt? Need to disconect the battery if you weld on a car. I have put the coils on without the bolts.

    I have replaced a lot of those, it takes me about 40 min. I have the tools to do it. part is cheap. I would not replace the whole column. Take it to a repair shop, labor time is like 1.5 hrs.

    More distributor questions

    R45T is the next hotter plug, you don't want a extended tip plug. However if they are black you have a different problem. Carb running rich/jets? You should check your timing also.

    How is Ford trying to reinvent the wheel, they have an actuall V-8, V-6 ecoboosts, 4 cyl. ecoboosts that make good power, unlike GM that tried to make a V-8 run on 4 cyl. which is junk and now V-8 that will run on 1 cyl. at times. Hmmmmmm

    Yes the JD paint is very good paint, use their hardner with it. The paint is cheaper then Dupont, PPG or Valspar.

    I did that in 2013 with half the field. planted with JD 7200, yield was the same, I had the same pop. for both 30" (140,000) and 15" (set at 70,000 and turned around)

    You can just put backerboard down with thinset. no need for another layer of plywood.

    Once you get the piston out you just need a dingleberry hone. I helped dad unstick engines like that before without taking head off and would use diesel fuel and ATF, would never have a problem with them burning oil, and they would get worked
