    How to clean the head

    Pulled the head off my A to get a look inside and start the cleaning process. What's the best way to clean the carbon gunk off? Soaking in kerosene an OK way to go? What about the gunk on the Pistons?

    Thanks for the quick responses everyone! I'll track down some 0 Guage cable and go right to the starter bolt tonight and try that. Probably need to drop the oil at some point too. Any suggestions for which oil to replace with? Does it have to be non detergent?
