STIHL has a strap that loops,over one shoulder and attaches at the throttle area, takes away lot of the weight off your arms -

1971(?) 5000 Cold start delete
Just put a T in place of the reservoir, that’s what they did on the later ones. JMHO I’d use the cold start before I used starter fluid -

I was remembering it because in the top, looking at the Messicks site appears to be above and inward -

If I remember correctly it is on the top of the hydraulic tank closer to the tractor -

A tablespoon per gallon is plenty. The black on your part is part of the result of the rust removal chemical reaction, it can be quickly be removed with water and a scotch brite pad or a soft stainless ste3l brush.
