    Trailer Floor replacement.

    Called a guy yesteday to replace my wooden floor in my 16 foot flatbed. He quoted me $100 labor + cost of material. That seems like a real good price. Was wondering how much lumber prices are running now as I haven't priced in a while. Anyone know how much more a steel floor would cost?

    Buying a trailer, what to look for?

    I perfer the tube type over the angle iron frame. Also look at the small details. How is the wire routed thru the frame? just a drilled hole or is there grommet to protect from abrasion? Make sure the axles aren't warped. You see this a lot esp on 16 footers for some reason.

    we've had it pretty easy here in Kansas so far this year. Last year was the worst. I guess its more of that global warming stuff. Can't say I really mind it warmin up here a bit.
