Thank you! I have a 565 4 bottom and thought it was the 5 bottom version at first. But when comparing the two the front is different.

    Plow ID

Good Afternoon Everyone! I purchased a few new plows and was wondering if anyone could help me with figuring out what this one is? I thought it was an Oliver but I am not finding any pictures online that look the same. Thanks!

Oliver 1755 Diesel Mechanical Fuel Pump

Just as J said, if your filters are good then there is no need. My pump started leaking over the winter. For a test I left it installed but bypassed it with rubber hose, 100+ hours later doing tilling & haying I have had no issues.

    454 gas not running right

Thank you everyone! The mechanical fuel pump was removed along time ago and replaced with an electric clickity clack one. There is good fuel flow going to the carb. When I cleaned the carb I removed and cleaned the inlet screen along with spraying carb cleaner thru the jets/passageways...

    454 gas not running right

Good evening everyone. I have a 454 gas that if you fully open the choke (no choke) the engine will die. To try and correct the problem I recently, less than 15 hours ago replaced the cap, rotor, points, condenser, wires, fuel filter, cleaned the carburetor and reset the valves. It starts...

    Figuring out ear corn yield

Thank you all for the links and information! It's definitely helpful and I appreciate it. Sorry, typo and lack of proof reading. I meant to say 30,000 seeds per acre (just figuring high and for easy math). I've never heard a crib being rated in crates, around here I've always heard sizing...

    Figuring out ear corn yield

Thank you! I'm sure I'm making this harder than it needs to be.. haha When I was reading the online information there are good explanations showing counting kernels per ear and doing the math on the test area to show the number of shelled bushels per acre. I'm more looking for, say I plant...

    Figuring out ear corn yield

Good Morning all, So I've been thinking about putting out some corn next year to be picked as ear corn, no variety etc. picked out yet. I've been looking online but haven't found a good explanation on how to roughly figure out bushels per acre I should expect to yield. Most of the results I...

    Uni-Combine

Thank you for the input! Yes, I can't think of many that are still in this area, let alone using the combine. I'll advise him its best to haul for scrap when prices go back up. Thanks again!

    Uni-Combine

Good Evening Everyone, My neighbor is looking to clean out this shed and has a New Idea Uni-System #717 Uni-combine. It hasn't been used in 20+ years and we are not sure if all the parts are there. Is this worth anything or just scrap? Thanks!

    Oliver 3point latches

I had this happen when using a semi-mount brush hog, too much shaking and vibration. I ended up using heavy duty zip ties, the 3/8 wide ones, to keep the locking latch down.
