    DB 990 front crankshaft seal replacement

    I have gone through about six David brown engines and I eyeballed the front seal on all of them. Another way to say it: I lined up the front cover / seal the best I could without the special tool. No leaks yet.

    David Brown 995 - Furl Line ID

    That is the fuel line to the "thermostart" device, which looks like a spark plug screwed into the intake manifold. The line you are referencing is #4 in the attached photo.
