    Looking for splined coupling

There's less than .125 of the splines that are stripped away completely and another .125 that is rounded over. Where did you put the washers to keep the drive shaft pushed to the rear? John

    Looking for splined coupling

Thanks for the offer. After further investigation, and it's a long story, it wouldn't do me any good to replace the coupling until I figure out why there's so much fore and aft play in the drive shaft and why the end of the pump shaft has been ground down. The drive shaft can move far enough...

    Looking for splined coupling

Finally got around to removing my Big Mo 500 hydraulic pump and found the splined coupling at the pump had stripped. The part number from my manual is 10A13077. Would anyone have an extra one laying around or know where I might purchase one? I also searched the industrial supply companies and...

Big Mo 500 utility hyd pump drive?

Thanks for the reply! After a closer look, the pump is mounted in the center of the differential, slightly off center towards the top. At least that's what it looks like looking down for the seat. Does this indicate anything different or special about the pump drive configuration?

Big Mo 500 utility hyd pump drive?

Hi All, I was moving snow with my Big Mo when the hydraulics went dead as a mild grinding noise started in the top left side of the differential. I checked my parts books and found the drive shaft but couldn't find where it connected to. Looking at the parts breakdown and the tractor it looks...

    Oil sump filter question

I’m resurrecting the 206K-4 engine in my Big Mo 500. It doesn’t have the regular “Float-O-Screen” oil sump strainer. Instead it has something like you would find in an R or RTI engine with a replaceable filter. All there is the base plate and the threaded rod that you would secure the filter...

    Best way to loosen cylinders?

Who said I didn't have manuals? I have the parts manual, general maintenance manual and the I&T shop manual which I had read several times. For whatever reason (bad eyesight, bad weather, my real job, frustration, life events, etc.) I missed the required details until Brian's reply snapped...

    Oil pressure adjustment

Shouldn't be an issue as the Group I part number is the same as what's on the Jet Star 3. The AGCO Parts book lists the non-adjustable pump as a "repair replacement" for the adjustable pump. The adjustable pump is what's listed as original for your tractor...

    Oil pressure adjustment

There is a pump listed for certain tractors with the 206 engine that do not have an oil pressure adjustment screw. It looks like they have a different spring than the adjustable pump. These tractors have the pumps listed a Group I and Group II. The Group I pump is adjustable. I don't know much...

    Best way to loosen cylinders?

Now I feel kind of goofy...I even checked the parts manual looking for attaching hardware. I just looked with a mirror and flashlight and sure enough I found the bolts you mentioned. There are actually three for each cylinder. Thanks for the help!

    Best way to loosen cylinders?

I haven't been able to break the cylinders loose from the crankcase on a 206L-4 engine. It has two stuck pistons so I'm trying to remove the cylinders. The heads have been removed and all the connecting rods have been disconnected from the crankshaft. The three bolts on the manifold side of each...

Expansion plug in bull pinion leaking...

The expansion plug in the right bull pinion is leaking oil onto my brakes. Is there any way to reseat it or otherwise tighten it up or would it just be easier to clean it well with a degreaser and seal it with RTV? Any suggestions or advice would be most appreciated! Thanks! John
