    Hi, my John Deere 3020 has a few rust spots on the hood. I want to touch them up without having to repaint the entire hood. I heard JD makes a touch up kit, but the paint needs to be classic green since that’s why it’s painted with. Any tips would be appreciated.

    The tractor was restored and is well kept, so I doubt it’s severely rusted. I was able to get the Deere part numbers. I have not picked them up yet but I will keep you all posted when I begin working on it. Thanks for your help!

    Sorry for the late response - the wire coming from the electronic ignition going to the coil broke off somehow, thank you all so much for your time and responses! The tractor runs beautifully now!

    Hey everybody, I have a 1970 3020 gasser. I want to replace the lens and bulb on my oil pressure light, as the original one is cracked and worn. Does anybody have a diagram of the system, or information on replacing this? Thanks in advance for your help.

    well I would have to convert it, plus the electronic ignition removes the annoying having to replace the points/clean them every so often. I believe it’s also more efficient.

    Yes I did check the coil and resistance, neither are bad. I believe the ignition system is the problem. I was able to find the right kit for my 3020. I’ll get it ordered soon! Thanks for all of your help! I will keep you all posted. P.S. - the plug wires are the resistor type. Thanks!

    Hi there, I have a 1958 ford 641 workmaster. I’ve been wanting to fix my fuel gauge, but can’t find any videos or other forums that are relevant. Does anybody have a diagram of the wiring, or the system? I have an original shop manual for the tractor but I can’t find anything there. thanks!
