    1370 hydraulic problems, need help

    You can do your own flow test, crude but works. A length of hydraulic hose, 5 gallon pail and a watch. The important thing to look for is a steady, unbroken stream of oil. To test the main pump, simply plug into any outlet. For the 8gpm pump, you'd tie in to it.

    Your 500 actually only has 2 reservoirs behind the clutch. The transmission and final drive share 1 housing which require 85W140 Gear Oil. The PTO and Hydraulic housing share a 2nd reservoir which require a premium "Transmission-Hydraulic Oil. I'd add a pint of 85W140 to it. The fill points...

    American Bosch PSB6A-75C-3411A Injection pump, I know they're a pain

    The problem is with the "Transfer Pump Seal". Not a big deal, do not pull the pump. The transfer pump is behind the cover with the slotted head screws. The hardest part is getting the supply lines out of the way. Pull that body out and behind the gear is the seal. We stock them here. If the...

    I'm not the least bit impressed. Good way to tear up a 1030 chassis. No way the 1030 radiator will keep the engine cool when really needed. He ran hyd's to the steering from the dual pump, but what is the front crank driven pump for?

    My advice is to pull the pump and inspect #10. You can also look @ #4 w/out disassembling. You can also pull the drain plug in the rear which is about directly under the screen. If chunks of crap come out, it could possibly mean the screen is plugged. If the oil comes out clean, I doubt it's...
