1401D wont start
Okay I'm back up and running again. I followed the steps for removing air from the fuel lines and also replaced the battery and belt so its now running well. Thanks for everyone's help. One follow up question. With the tractor running I switch the key to off and the tractor keeps running... -

Hi Aaron, Thanks for the additional information, this may come in very useful. I wont get to work on this problem until the weekend but I'll report back if I was successful on getting the tractor restarted. This site is a great resource. -John -

I own a yanmar 1401D which ran like a top until I let it sit unused for 3 years. Before attempting to restart it I charged the battery, emptied the fuel tank and filter canister and refilled both with fresh fuel. I then attempted to start the tractor. It cranks over and sounds like its ready to...
