    M wheels

    is the jam nut that is placed on the bolt of the wheel and rim assembly necessary or is it just for convenience. The threads on the bolts I have are not deep enough to place a jam nut behind the outside clamp. I am replacing a cracked center wheel on my M. Thanks for any replies.

    Welding M wheel

    I have two running cracks about an inch and a half long about six inches apart on the wheel of my M Farmall. The cracks are on the wheel where the two bolts clamp it to the axle. Until I replace the wheel is welding a good idea. I am not a welder but can have one do it. Just wanted y"all"s...

    OT--Tires

    I have worked at a Michelin tire plant for over 25 years. Have built Michelin , uniroyal and BF Goodrich tires all at the plant during that time. The Michelin brand tires have a tighter spec and different material content than the other brands. Hope you are not loosing air on any I built.
