Ford 801 Select-O-Speed
I have a 59 881, the PTO runs slowly after pushing the PTO handle in to the off position. My local tractor mechanic/expert tells me that is a commmon thing for that series. He said it is more trouble and very expensive to tear the trator apart to fix. When I shut the tractor off the PTO stops...- jon316white

1959 ford 881 select-o-speed power steering problem
I also have a 1959 Select O Speed. I have not had it very long. I am using it to mow 8 acres, scrape snow and plow a garden. I love it and I hope someday to restore it.- jon316white
