    1963 Ford 2000 4-cylinder Solenoid Problem

Pretty Scary! I had this happen on an 841 diesel 12V. I bought a solenoid through a tractor supply dealer that was supposedly for my 841. Luckily, I didn't run myself over! The solenoid works by grounding through the starter switch. The one you bought probably grounds through the mounting...

    external_link Still Out There?

N Complete moved from Wilkinson to Summit, IN. Last time we passed through there, about a month ago, it looked like they were closed up.

    841 injector pump

That was pretty easy. I was worried that if I took the cap off, parts would fly all over the barn. Had to remove 2 lines to get the cap off, and then just an o ring seal. Thanks for the help.

That's the pump. 4 screws, then. On top where the fuel line goes in.

    841 injector pump

Well, I should have been clear. This is a Ford 4 cylinder 172 Cu In engine. The cover has 4 screws. I was able to get banjo washers for it at the JD dealer today, though...

    841 injector pump

Help! The injector pump is leaking around the top seam, where the cap attaches. Apparently a seal has failed. It looks pretty easy to take off, but I want to make sure. Also, it doesn't look like parts are easy to find for this pump. It's a Roosa Master. It runs ok so I don't want to have the...

    power adjust wheels

Thank you both! Actually, what I'm thinking of is selling the PA rims and centers and replacing them with regular ones. I don't really need PA rims. Sorry I didn't make that clear. Tucker Tire has a pretty good deal on new rims (not adjustable) and centers with new tires mounted. Dean, based...

    power adjust wheels

Thinking of getting new rims and centers for my 841. Any idea what used power adjust rims with centers are worth? Did a search, but didn't see any for sale. I'd say they are repairable.

    1964 2000 power steering

Can you see where the oil is coming from? Look at the lines going into the control valve. If oil is coming out the top of the shaft near the steering wheel, as Soundguy suggests, then the upper shaft seal is leaking. This is common. There is a lower shaft seal and 2 large o-rings on either side...

    Ford Rim

Should make a sticky.... Walts tractors has new ones - pretty expensive. They also have a rim for less that will bolt to a power adjust center, but is not adjustable.

    Question about a Sherman Transmission

Is it 2 positions? It looks like mine, which is a step up. Lever forward is factory gearing, back is step up.

850 Rear rim - central PA

Walts tractor has them. They also have a non-adjustable rim that bolts onto your centers.

    Fuel shut off leaking

A lot of times, the packing around the valve stem leaks. Just tighten it up enough to squeeze the stem a little.

    The over heating continues

After flushing, my 2n was still overheating. I finally found the radiator had been replaced with a 2-row. Replacing it with a 3-row cured the problem. Cost a bit, but cheaper than a cracked block.

Ford 861 Power Steering Leak Under Steering Wheel

The manual has you remove the entire steering box, but just the control valve can be removed for service. Be prepared for a flood of oil when you take it apart! Replace both upper and lower seals and 2 O rings while you're in there.
