    IH 184 Creeper Needed

    Try Wengers in Myerstown PA. I was up there a year or so ago and they had a whole line of those models sitting out there in the weeds. Maybe they have something. Not really familiar with those models much either but hope this helps!

    H brake questions....

    The 39 and early 40 used a round shaft with a key way. The later ones were splined so the 39 won’t interchange with the later years. Might check and see if the diameter of the two styles are different. If the early ones are a little larger it would explain why you don’t have adjustment left...

    H aftermarket seat

    What you have is an earlier version of an aftermarket seat. The more common later one was patented in 1949. The shock would be in the middle and the spring in the rear. As for the mounting holes there should be more of them there. A lot of times they get packed with years of dirt and look...

    H cylinder head and valves

    Sounds like you have a 1940 H with a 1952 block. At some point the tractor needed a block so someone changed it. Not sure what year the valves changed but the 5 5/16 valve kit should work with your head.

    Farmall H running rough

    The casting letter J indicates that the engine is a 1940 model, therefore it would be a H engine. A lot of aftermarket manifolds had slotted holes so they would work for H, Super H and 300/350. The larger carb should work on the H fine. May need to lean the fuel off a little. As far as the...

    53 Super H rear wheel adjustment

    You should just loosen the bolts and like you said, just rock the wheel back and forth. I would spray the axles with penetrating oil 1st. Hope this helps.
