    Did you have the head checked out when you did the head gasket ? If not the head my have a crack in it. I would have it checked if you did not.If the head is good the cylinders is the next place I would start looking as some one else has mentioned. It sounds like there is a crack some place and...

    My 3010 has an after market wide front end that is different than the actual john deeres . It is a really poorly made front end and it keeps breaking spindles were the tie rod connects to them . I am tired of fixing it and would like to take it back to original or at least a john deere front end .

    Timken vs. National Bearings

    You are right . I used to work for a company that rebuilt rearends for underground mining equipment and we were only aloud to use timken or national products .A timken rep came in one day and said that most bearing companys buy bearings and seals from timken and package as their own .

    I am looking for a rollamatic narrow front end for my John Deere 3010 and a guy gave me a rollamatic from under a John Deere 50 and said it would work . My 3010 has a wide front under it now so I have nothing to compare it with . If any one has any input for me on this I would greatly appreciate...
