Ford 501 Sickle Bar
I?ve actually greased enough and put a pipe wrench on the pulley and worked it back and forth until the pulley has freed up. It still feels slightly rough but turns pretty free. Do you think it?ll ever hold together enough to cut about 2 acres of hay with?- Joshb-92

Ok. I don?t even have it hooked up to the tractor at all. So I guess I?ve got a bearing locked up? This thing had been setting out for a while before I bought it. The guy I bought it from is someone I know well and he said it had been cutting well when put out of use. They just let it set...- Joshb-92

I?ve got a quick question for you guys. I?ve noticed on the Case 1175 I recently bought that it is difficult to get the shift linkage back to the notch for the neutral selector so that it will let you crank it. Gotcha, I?ll do it. Hopefully that takes care of it. Looking at it there might be a little bit of fluid around the piston on the caliper. Does anyone know if they still sell the rebuild kits for these?- Joshb-92

5600 power steering continued
Thank you Bern. I appreciate you buddy. I got her bolted back together and ran it yesterday and everything seems to be working like it should. Gonna do some work with it this week and make sure I?m good to go with it and I?ll bolt the last few things up on it and be finished. Thanks again. -

I finally got a chance to pull the control valve assembly apart I had mentioned on a previous post that I had pulled off. I definitely had a pinched o ring. Thanks Bern for pointing me in the right direction. Do you have any good advice for stacking these valve body pieces back together... -

Ok. Thanks for your help Bern. A little bit of an update on it. I just had time this morning to get out and drive it around the field. When turning left everything is excellent, however when turning right she makes the sound of fluid bypassing and feels like she has maybe 50 percent power... -
