    Thank you, that is good to hear. Both of my restored 8N's are working tractors. In fact I'm heading out to plant about a 20 acre hay field today. It seems that 700 rpms is as low as I can get her and still keep a smooth idle. Is the only idle adjustment on the backside of the carburetor...

    I think I might have just figured it out with the adjustment screw on the backside of the carburator. I'm thinking she idles best at 7000 rms?

    Hi fellas, hope somebody out there can help me with my 1952 8N. She starts and runs like a champ ... BUT ... she runs like a race horse 50 yards away from the finish line. I can't seem to slow her down to a nice calm idle. Any ideas would be appreciated. Jeff

    Thanks guys for all the help and advice! The video was nice to see. My coulter hub/bearing is broke (hit a rock), so I need to replace it. I'll try to post a pic of that as well. Can't find a matching used one anywhere. May have to go the Kinze route. Any idea where I can find new plow...

    I am looking for a Coulter bearing that would fit my Deerborn 2 bottom plow. Please contact me if you know where I might be able to find one. I am also in need of new plow shares for this plow. Thank you for your time and help ... I have been looking everywhere! ;)
