Farmall 450 Hydraulic Detent
I will be tearing into my 450 this winter to work on weak power steering issue. While I am there I would like to fix the hydraulic valves. The detent doesn't work very well on two and not at all on the main one for the fast hitch. Are the parts easily fixable? I remember trying to fix this issue...- TXZane

That info gives me more encouragement to do the job myself. I have already pulled the steering wheel because I had a gear puller. I have sockets from very small up to 1-1/2" and should have seal installation covered. Thanks for replying. Your info and comments are very helpful.- JPBGP

He suggested I use their Kobota service department mechanics but, they only work on other brands when their business is slow. Thanks for your reply Roy. I changed that filter a few weeks back and have logged less than 50 hours since change. I personally have not changed this filter before and do not know if I may have gotten something wrong when I replaced the reservoir. Everything seems to be okay from the outside...- JPBGP
