This is from my earlier post on Amsoil Guido. AMSOIL was the first to produce synthetic oil for the automobile (10W-40) in 1972 (synthetic oil was being used in aircraft up to that point). Actually, AMSOIL was the first to produce synthetic oil for the automobile (10W-40) in 1972 (synthetic oil was being used in aircraft up to that point).
