    New to mowing/bailing

I have a ten acre section around my pond. I get on average 35 rolls a cutting with 3 cuttings per year. With that said if I get 105 rolls a year at $50/ roll it would take 10 years just to pay for older used equipment and that is not counting fertilizer and herbicide costs. I can have it...

    Spraying weeds in hayfield

1-4 pints of 2,4-D Amine per acre in 15 to 30 gal of water so depending on the price of product 2.5 gal @ $50 would give you a cost of approx $10 per acre.

    Reverse mowing

With a single stage Clutch when you push Clutch in (disengage) the PTO Stops along with the tractor. The motor continues to run just disengaged from drive line and PTO. When everything stops turning you put PTO in gear or take it out with out any problem. This has been done for years.

using oil in diesel to add lubricity to the fuel

Not sure where you are located but here in Ga. and everywhere else I know of. The only difference in ON and OFF road fuel is the DYE. They both have same sulfur content and additives.

First cutting of hay is done

Here in South Ga. we have had a really wet spring and summer, we are in a drought now ...it hasn't rained in about 15 minutes... I could only roll about 5 acres of my hay because of wet conditions. The second cutting has been put off till last cutting due to water. I have been working on a way...

    Advice on small round baler

In my area a little over half your hay will barely pay the fertilizer and herbicide bill. This leaves the other half for labor and equipment. I have found when you add fuel labor and equipment not to be profitable unless you can do custom work for neighbors.

    Planting under Power lines

I am not sure about your area and utility but here in my area the Power Co. will pay you to keep their R/W cut and cleared . Not a lot but something is better than nothing and they will mark it "do not spray" on their maps.

    Field Navigation Apps

I have tried several different apps on my I-phone and every time I use them my field either grows or shrinks. I have never got the same thing twice. The GPS they use on a phone just does not seem repeatable. Also the screen on my phone is so small I cant see it while trying to drive in the field..

420 guestion about the large bolt below medallion.

I am not sure I would want to use it for a spray rig as you will be eating a lot of chemicals unless you run in reverse all the time. Just a thought. :D
