    1949 IH Cub Carb replacement

A zentih will give you a little more but not alot. Like mentioned before, best thing you can do is give it a full time up. Without that a zenith carb will give you no benefit. Good compression, good valves, are the next thing.

    Farmall Cub

Yeah that's quite hi. Rear mount mower is quite valuable but no telling what it would cost to make it functional again.

    IH one row cotton picker

From the heart of cotton country, I believe everything your looking for can be found but typically ordered. I know the spindles are different from modern pickers. They are much longer on the older picker units. I figure the doffers and moisture pads haven't changed much other than the material...

Looking for what a tractor is worth

I would say if everything is good to hook up and go to work including the tractor and tires hold air, the 2500 range is fair price. Only implement that is actually "valuable" is the disc if it's a tandem disc. All the implements have value for sure but not as much as you would think...

    Farmall cub idler gear removal

I have to change the reverse idler gear bushing in my cub. What's the best way to go about changing that without splitting the tractor.

    Fuel question

No problem in any of mine. 1 super m, 1 h, and 3 cubs. I use a good fuel additive. Whether it helps or just costs me money I don't know. I use lucas fuel additive and when shutting down for the winter I use Stabil. No problems yet.

    Farmall cub paint job

Wanting to paint one of my cubs while the engine is out. The correct police will try to arrest me but I want to paint the cast iron black. Engine, bolster, tranny, finals. And the sheet metal red. Anyone here got one painted similar to that? Just kinda want an idea what it will look like...

    Farmall Cub

Easy to build, I built mine minus the bird poop welds, crooked nasty looking torch cuts. 2x2 square tubing and 1x2 tubing for the frame. Built a hinge/hitch based on the type that's one a breaking plow and got 9 Danish plow tines. 5ft wide. Probably couldn't get much out of it but it works great.

I know a salvage guy in Crossville TN. That I'm sure will have all the filter covers you want.

    Securing a Farmall cub

I'm a welder myself and thought about building one but was curious how strong the front end pivot point was for strapping down.

    Securing a Farmall cub

Ok so not much different than I have done. I take a strap around the front axle to the trailer. 1 on each side then a chain and binder on the drawbar. Just wanted to see if anyone had a better idea

    Mower on farmall cub

Yes real pain for taking on and off. I bought a tractor with manual lift just to put my mower under and leave it.

    Securing a Farmall cub

I have a 16ft dual axle trailer I haul my cubs on. What is the best/preferred way to strap/chain a cub down.

    Mower on farmall cub

A woods 59 is what I have. The direction of blade rotation is determined by belt routing. Brackets and mule drives are what is cub specific. Mowing tall grass you will have trouble with unless you take little bits a time. They did make sickle mowers specific to cubs. They are belly mount...

    cub coil

I buy internally resisted coil for all my tractors. You might have accidentally got a coil that's not internally resisted. Definitely sounds like and electrical problem and not an internal engine problem.
