    Time to stir the pot again. A Farmall super a can definitely cut 6"+ grass in second gear. Tore it down this winter. Went with a overbore step head piston overhaul kit. It'll cut no problem now!

    Just wanted to give you guys a quick update. Finally picked up some spark plugs. Seems promising. Fired back up after running for aprox 15 min. Block was around 120 degrees so we'll see once I get it out and have it running for a longer time. Thanks for all of the suggestions!

    Thinking again - if it is a bad spark plug why is it not popping on the other cylinder? The other cylinder still should have popped on the ether. It just so strange how it runs perfect then won't run. Too dark to mess with it more today.

    Thank for the suggestions! Ill try to pick up another set of plugs and see if that makes a difference.

    Yes turned the grass off to shut it off. Not sure on the plugs. Because it runs fine on them when they are cold. Thanks for all the replies already.

    I recently got a cat d4 6u and I'm have issue with the pony starting after it is hot. The pony will start perfect when it is cold. Half choke half throttle (40 degrees) will fire right up. Runs strong. After running the machine and then shutting it off for 2-3 hrs the pony refuses to start...
