    yes this was the problem on our gas Massey 65 when it was doing that same thing. replaced the governor and it fixed the issue.

    Cracks

    had a mf65 gas with cracks(only on the top), and we filled them with the jb weld steelstik epoxy putty. worked well, and may fare well in bottom cracks too.

    we did an alternator conversion on our MF65 Perkins, and went with a 45w Kubota alternator- much smaller, works great, and doesn't stick out.

    best fluid for transmission super 90

    hiya! what's the best substitute for the type A transmission fluid in a super 90 diesel? Just UTF? and how about engine oil? manual says 20w/20, but is just regular old 15w/40 fine? tried searching, but couldn't find a definite answer. Thank you!

    I think thats the neutral safety switch. Works off the H/L shifter when wired up.

    if you can get it run by messing with the shutoff valve, is it possible there is a bunch of sediment in the bottom of the fuel tank causing the line to clog?

    Its number 3 in the image. there is also a bypass valve(2) to make sure is in the right position.

    if worst comes to worst, look into getting one 3d printed. there are places that do metal parts, but I imagine it may be expensive.

    About giving up

    my dodge pickup had an oil leak on the front main seal that it took a speedi-sleeve to fix. the end of the crank where the seal rides was worn.

    beautiful old machine! Don't destroy it for yard art! You could even go as far as finding a local farm museum to donate it to to preserve it.
