    Thanks for the suggestion, but I should have mentioned that it makes no difference with way the lever is. So that is the reason I'm thinking shomething more is wrong. Thanks, Jim

    I just bought a Ford 3000, hydraulics on the 3 point work fine, when I raise the 3 point and shut it off they stay up for days until I lower them, the trouble is when I lift something heavy and using the top link, it will not pick it up.     Jubilee rebuild

    I have a Jubilee ran several years ago but had to leave it for several years. It would not start, then found it had a stuck valve, on number two cylinder. Took the head off cleaned and reseated the valves. Took compression test, but only came up to 30 to 40 lbs per cylinder. I put motor oil...

    Thanks for your suggestion. I already tried what you suggested, didn't work it's really stuck. Think I will give the tranny fluid suggestion from "Old"

    Thanks for your reply, I will try your suggestion. When you said tranny fluid, did you mean automatic transmission fluid? Oh by the way the tractor is a 49, couldn't be a 47 and a 8N.

    Stuck engine

    I have a 47 8N, left the spark plugs out for a few days noe the engine is stuck. I have tried WD-40 and a bit of motor oil down the cylinders, no luck. Any suggestions what to do without taking it apart?
