    Help identifying Case tractor

A friend of mine saw this sitting along a road in a nearby town. I went and looked at it but the serial number tag is missing. It says Case-O-Matic on the sides of the hood. Can someone please help identify it?

    Help identifying Ferguson TO tractor

Thanks for the help guys. I'll have to get back out to my friends and look at the tractor again before I can answer any of the questions.

    Help identifying Ferguson TO tractor

Hello, I'm not much associated with the Ferguson tractors so I thought I would seek a little help. A friend of mine has what I guess is called a Harry Ferguson tractor. The serial number is TO-41412 From what I see here at this sight the serial number puts it at a year of manufacture of 1940...

    Some Case equipment

Is this one of the All States Ag Parts yards? The yard people should be keeping all of the sheet metal up of the damp ground before it is ruined by rust.

    Wheel rims

My '63 430 rear rims looked to be galvanized inside and out. The galvanized metal was still no match for the old calcium chloride mix that ate into one of the rims pretty good.

    Re: Case 311

Loren's message is a reply from the old posting as I received a follow up message via E-mail. I had made a comment about how we need to save this Case from being scrapped. I still hope someone can save it from becoming a crate of cheap tools from overseas! If I had a big pickup it would already...

    snow

In central Va. we have an inch of snow and then some freezing rain. Surprisingly the power is still on. The lack of power line maintenance, as in tree trimming, in this area is bad.

    We're not used to THIS!

I know what you mean. I hate snow! I moved to the south from a wintry northern state in '90 and I thought I had it made. It barely snowed here much and most winter days were 45-50 degrees. Then El Nino brought a winter where it scarcely dropped below freezing even at night. The last three...

First Family Photo of the '41 SC

Ah, I found a picture of mine from way back when it still looked nice.

First Family Photo of the '41 SC

The SC turned out really nice! I'm glad you saved it from dying in the fence row or getting scrapped. I have a similar '42 SC but mine does not have the flat rear cast hubs or the center exhaust through the hood. They are nice heavy made tractors. If I remember correctly, most of the...

    210B hard starting.

I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving! Stephen, if you are still having problems with the engine then let's go back to one of your earlier entry's. I'm assuming the ignition was disabled when you unsuccessfully tried to rotate the engine with a 24" breaker bar. If the ignition is disabled and...

    210B hard starting.

The engine should be easily turned with a 24" breaker bar. I'm assuming you were trying to manually turn the engine with the breaker bar during a period when the engine was warm and unable to crank. With the ignition off, coil wire removed, transmission in neutral, fan belt tension loosened and...
